Middle-Earth fanon is a wiki dedicated to fanon stories about Middle-Earth. Fanon of the Month — November 2015: Anímenúr
Anímenúr, also the Kingdom of Anímenúr, was a kingdom founded during the Second Age by Númenorean settlers. It was founded as a city-state when Cin Terath was founded by king Arond and stadtholder Tírvan. The kingdom went to war in about three years of its existance with Harad, citing their corruption. The Khandish later started to aid Anímenúr, prolonging the conflict even more. Eventually, Harad was victorious, being way to large for the other two, territory of both, Khand and Anímenúr was occupied. Anímenúr's occupied ground remained occupied by the Haradrim for the several hundreds of years to come. At some point before the War of the Ring, the Haradrim grip on the occupied territories began to detoriate, resulting in the revolt of Anímenúr and Khand, with both of them taking back their occupied territory.
